Two Arrested in Illegal Gambling Investigation

Fairfax County Police detectives and officers, with the assistance of the City of Falls Church Police, served seven search warrants yesterday in conjunction with an investigation into illegal gambling operations.

Three businesses – Café Nho, Nha Trang Restaurant and Eden Skin Care and Cosmetics, all at the Eden Center in the City of Falls Church – were searched. Four residences in Fairfax County were also searched, two of which were in the Falls Church area.

Two individuals were arrested in connection to the investigation. Don T. Ong, 42, Springfield, and Vinh C. Pham, 58, of Falls Church. Both were charged with conducting an illegal gambling operation and money laundering.
