Duncan Considering F.C. City Council Run

The News-Press has learned that long-time Falls Church civic activist Phil Duncan is seriously mulling a run for the City Council in the upcoming May 1 election.

Duncan serves on the City’s Economic Development Authority and is chair of the Business in Education (BIE) Partnership. Duncan was among those who attended a forum by the Citizens for a Better City (CBC) last week at the Community Center that was designed to be a “how to” for citizens considering running for the City Council and School Board this spring.

No new announcements came out of that meeting, although 11 either already-announced or prospective candidates attended the event.
