Critter Corner: Missing Cat Katie Found

missingcatKatie, a tiny tortie cat, has been found after having gone missing last week. The cat, who lives at the corner of S. Spring Street and Poplar Drive and is older than 15, sneaked out of her house Jan. 11.

Her worried family spread the word – including an announcement run on the News-Press website. A lost cat listing on the Animal Welfare League of Arlington website resulted in her discovery. The old cat, taken in by a shelter worker, has been held there for a few days. She had been found just a block from her home.
