F.C. Names New Technology Chief

Jamal Matthews has been appointed the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the City of Falls Church. Since 2008, Matthews has excelled as Operations Manager and Senior Network Engineer for IntelliDyne, the City’s information technology (IT) service provider.

As the manager assigned to the City contract, he has overseen daily operations of all IT functions for the City. Matthews has over 20 years of specialized experience in the IT industry, ranging from end-user support, project management, and team leadership, to infrastructure design and support. As the City’s CTO, he will manage the City’s general government network, systems, desktop and data processing functions and ensuring integration and coordination with school systems.
