City-Inspired Student Art to Be Unveiled at FIRSTfriday

Art submitted for the 11th annual City of Falls Church Student Art Contest will be on display this month at Art and Frame of Falls Church, and an opening reception will be held during FIRSTfriday from 6 – 8 p.m.

Work made by K – 12 students from Falls Church schools in keeping with the theme “Falls Church in Every Season” will be on display.

Judges will select 13 entries to feature in an online calendar. The artists who created those pieces will receive a certificate of appreciation and a $50 picture-framing gift certificate.

The contest is sponsored by FIRSTfriday of Falls Church, BIE and Art and Frame of Falls Church
