City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for December 27, 2011 – January 2, 2012

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block Church Pl. On Dec. 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 33, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Dec. 27, a male, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Drinking In Public, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Dec. 28, Elinson R. Ventura, 23, of Washington, DC; and a male, 21, of Wheaton, MD, were arrested for Drinking In Public.

Destruction of Property 150 S. Washington St. #300 (Center for Health Environment and Justice) On Dec. 30, the business reported an unknown suspect(s) cut telecommunications lines sometime between Dec. 28 and Dec. 29.

Narcotics Violation, 600 block S. Washington St. On Dec. 30, a male, 18, of the City of Falls Church; and Christopher Wakeley, 18, of the City of Falls Church, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

Assault & Battery, Petit Larceny, and Public Drunkenness, 127 E. Broad St. (Applebee’s) On Dec. 31, officers responded to the location for a report of disorderly individuals. A male, 46, of Annandale, was arrested for Assault & Battery, Petit Larceny, and Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 1000 block N. Sycamore St. On Dec. 31, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 29, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Resisting Arrest and Public Drunkenness, 100 block W. Annandale Rd. On Jan. 1, a male, 27, of Arlington, was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness, 300 Park Ave. (City Hall) On Jan. 1, a male, 22, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Vandalism, 707 W. Broad St. (State Farm) On Jan. 2, an unknown suspect(s) glued the front door stuck and spray painted graffiti on the door.

Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd # 15 (H2O Cafe) On Jan. 2, an officer observed a male, 31, of Alexandria, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. The suspect was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
