City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for December 20 – 26, 2011

Liquor Law Violation and Public Drunkenness, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On Dec. 20, a male, 54, of Alexandria, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Possession of Alcohol on School Property.

Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 400 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Dec. 21, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 26, of Glendale, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from Vehicle, 900 block Lincoln Ave. On Dec. 21, an unknown suspect stole cash from the victim’s unsecure vehicle.

Larceny from Vehicle, 100 block N. Virginia Ave. On Dec. 21, an unknown suspect(s) stole tools from the victim’s vehicle.

Public Drunkenness, 200 block W. Broad St. On Dec. 22, a male, 58, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, Narcotics Violation, and Public Drunkenness, 500 block N. Washington St. On Dec. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 54, of Alexandria, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The passenger, a male, 42, of Arlington, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Public Drunkenness and Felony Violation of a Protection Order, 900 block W. Broad St. On Dec. 23, a male, 58, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness and Felony Violation of a Protection Order.

Driving Under the Influence, 400 block W. Broad St. On Dec. 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, Jr., 59, of Brandywine, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Assault & Battery and Public Drunkenness, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Le Mirage) On Dec. 25, a male, 38, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Assault & Battery and Public Drunkenness.

Trespassing, 120 N. Virginia Ave. (Mary Riley Styles Public Library) On Dec. 26, an officer observed suspicious activity in the area. The suspect was on library property during closed hours. a male, 18, of Falls Church, was arrested for Trespassing. The suspect was also served a Fairfax County warrant for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
