F.C. Businesses Help TJ Kids Learn About Ancient Foods

Thomas Jefferson Elementary School third grade students, learning about ancient Greece, Rome and Mali, enjoyed tasting some examples of ancient foods.

The tasting plates were full of dates, figs, grapes, pears, feta cheese, olives, pomegranate seeds, baklava, hummus, pita and salad.

The samplings were donated by parents and Business in Education partners Pie-Tanza and Anthony’s Restaurant.
