The boys and girls varsity swimming teams at George Mason High School brought in top scores at the Dec. 3 Bull Run Relay.

Their combined team score pushed them far out in front of second-place finisher William Monroe High School. Clarke County High School came in third.

Swimmers from the Mason boys team were able to place first in all of their eight relays, while the girls team took the top spot in four of their relays and second in their other relays.

The boy and girls teams will face Central High School Dec. 10 at the Manassas Park Community Center at 8:30 p.m.
