F.C. Library Foundation Trust Announces Annual Fund Drive

The Mary Riley Styles Public Library Foundation, a non-profit organization, was organized in 2002 to help with the Falls Church City library’s unmet needs.

With City and State support reduced in the last three years, the libray is asking local residents to consider a tax deductible contribution that will assist the library.

In 2011, the foundation provided over $25,000 to the library which funded the following: A new self-checkout machine; a new digital ViewScan microfilm/fiche reader printer; software used in cataloging materials for the public; and books, DVDs, and eBooks for patrons.

In the past, the foundation has provided books, DVDs, audiobooks, magazine subscriptions, and the wireless connection to the Internet for the public to use.

Interested patrons may drop off their donation at the library, located at 120 N. Virginia Ave., Falls Church, or mail them to: MRSPL Foundation Trust Treasurer at 213 W. Columbia St., Falls Church, VA 22046. Each donor will receive a confirmation letter for tax purposes.

For more information, contact the foundation at mrslibrarytrust@gmail.com or call 703-248-5030.
