City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for November 29 – December 5, 2011

NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation.

Shoplifting, 1003 W. Broad St. (Rite Aid) On Nov. 29, three unknown suspects stole a touch screen tablet and cologne.

Public Drunkenness, 300 block W. Columbia St. On Nov. 29, John L. Webster, 53, of Arlington, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Grand Larceny, 1200 W. Broad St. (Citgo Gas) On Nov. 30, the suspect stole cash from the store. After investigation, officers arrested a male, 43, of Arlington, for Grand Larceny.

Larceny from Building, 6623 Wilson Blvd. (Shell Service Station) On Nov. 30, the victim business reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a lid for an underground fuel tank some time on Nov. 25.

Assault and Battery, 404 S. Washington St. (La Migueleña) On Nov. 30, an unknown suspect threw a bag of corn flour at the victim. The suspect was described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5`4″ tall, weighing 230 lbs, with long brown hair, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Narcotics Violation and Littering, 513 W. Broad St. (The Byron) On Dec. 1, a 16 year-old male, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. A 15 year-old male, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Littering.

Throwing a Missile Object at Occupied Vehicle and Simple Assault, 100 block N. Washington St. On Dec. 1, the suspect driver made threats to another driver. The suspect was identified and warrants were issued for hi arrest.

Public Drunkenness, 130 N. Washington St. (Clare & Don’s) On Dec. 2, a male, 37, of Arlington, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block E. Broad St. On Dec. 2, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 25, of Alexandria, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Domestic Assault, 100 block Chanel Terr. On Nov. 15, a male, 27, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Assault and Battery and Shoplifting, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Dec. 2, an unknown suspect left the store with stolen nail polish and assaulted the victim when confronted.

Narcotics Violation and Public Drunkenness, 800 block W. Broad St.

On Dec. 2, officers responded to the area for a report of a disorderly individual. a male, 25, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Possession of Phencyclidine (PCP) and Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 300 block N. Washington St. On Dec. 3, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 32, of Painted Post, NY, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (VABC Store) On Dec. 4, the business reported an unknown suspect stole bottles of liquor on Dec. 2 and 4. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing green warm-up pants and a grey sweater.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block S. Spring St. On Dec. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A male, 30, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Driving Under The Influence.

Domestic Assault, 100 block W. Marshall St. On Dec. 5, a male, 48, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
