Jose Cristino Sanchez-Rosa, of Robert Lane in Falls Church, died yesterday because of injuries sustained when he was hit by a car in the parking lot of a Hyattsville Home Depot on Thanksgiving.
The collision occurred when a 79-year-old Hyattsville man was leaving the store, located at 3301 East West Highway, Hyattsville. His car swerved and hit six people standing in the parking lot. One man, Fredys Castillo-Giron, of Hyattsville, died that day, and other victims were hospitalized.
Police are still investigating the incident.
