The Center Director is responsible for the overall administration of the program, including but not limited to the oversight of finances, quality assurance, staffing, training, program admissions, supervision of staff as well as marketing and community relations.

Education/Experience:
*BA in Early Childhood Education or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
*Masters degree in Special Education, Human Development, Infancy/Early Childhood or related field is preferred.
*Minimum of 3 years experience supervising programs that provide comprehensive coordinated services to young children and their families.
*Working knowledge of programs serving infants and young children with special needs and their families.
*One year experience as a child care center director or early childhood program director of full day programs and 3 years of full time teaching experience with children under 5 years of age.

On Monday, December 5, 2011, the City of Falls Church Planning Commission, at 7:45 p.m. will hold a public hearing during their regularly scheduled meeting, in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, Virginia 22046, on the following:

(TR11-43) Resolution Amending and Reenacting Resolution 2004-30, as amended by Resolution 2007-14, Resolution 2008-17, and Resolution 2009-11 to Approve Special Exceptions SE04-016 for Mixed Use Development at 400-412 South Maple Avenue, Known as “500 South Maple Avenue” to Atlantic Realty Companies, Inc. and their Successors (The Developer/Owner).

The purpose of the requested Special Exception Amendment is to allow for the leasing of additional “Service Uses” (versus required Retail Uses) for a large portion of the vacant first floor commercial space at Pearson Square

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
BOND FINANCING BY THE CITY OF FALLS CHURCH, VIRGINIA
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Falls Church, Virginia (the “City”) will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 28, 2011 in accordance with Section 15.2-2606 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, on the issuance of a general obligation public improvement bond of the City in the estimated maximum amount of $10,000,000 to finance the cost, in whole or in part, of the refunding of its General Obligation Public Improvement Bond, Series 2006, and its General Obligation Public Improvement Bond, Series 2008, and certain public school, City Hall and recreation and parks projects. The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 7:30 o’clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard.

All public hearings will be held in the Council Chambers, 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, Virginia.
