City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for November 15 – 28, 2011
Public Drunkenness, 360 S. Washington St. On Nov. 15, a male, 44, no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Vandalism, 800 block Fulton Ave. On Nov. 15, an unknown suspect(s) threw multiple eggs at the victim’s vehicle sometime overnight.
Residential Burglary, 1300 block Robinson Pl. On Nov. 15, an unknown suspect(s) entered the occupied residence through an unlocked door. A computer was stolen from the residence which was used to exploit banking information.
Vandalism, 400 block Jackson St. On Nov. 15, unknown suspect(s) keyed the victim’s vehicle.
Domestic Assault, 100 block Chanel Terr. On Nov. 15, a male, 27, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.
False Report to Police and Public Drunkenness, 700 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 15, an officer observed an intoxicated man on the sidewalk. The intoxicated man claimed he was robbed earlier in the day at a nearby convenience store. An investigation determined that there was no robbery and the claim was false. A male, 44, of Falls Church, was arrested for Falsely Reporting a Crime to Police and Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence, 1000 block E. Broad St. On Nov. 16, a male, 22, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Larceny from Vehicle, 400 block Poplar Dr. On Nov. 16, a GPS device from an unlocked vehicle was found stolen sometime between Nov. 3 and 4.
Attempted Robbery and Assault and Battery, 201 S. Washington St. (7-Eleven) On Nov. 17, an unknown suspect approached the victim at the front entrance and demanded money. The suspect did not obtain money and assaulted the victim in the face. The victim was evaluated and treated for injuries by medics on scene. The suspect, described as a black male wearing a yellow t-shirt with a knit hat, fled in a SUV with three other individuals.
Driving Under the Influence and Driving While Revoked, 500 block E. Broad St. On Nov. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.A male, 25, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under The Influence and Driving with a Revoked License.
Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike On Nov. 17, an unknown suspect(s) stole cash and an iPod from the victim’s unattended clothing in the main gym.
Larceny from Building, 7124 Leesburg Pike On Nov. 18, an unknown suspect(s) stole cash and an iPhone from the victim’s unsecure backpack.
Narcotics Violation, 1000 W. Broad St. On Nov. 19, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 21, of Falls Church was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
Vandalism, 6619 Wilson Blvd. (New Moon Restaurant) On Nov. 19, an unknown suspect(s) broke both side mirrors and the rear windshield wiper to the victim’s vehicle.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd # 24 (Hai Ky Mi Gia), On Nov 19, a male, no fixed address, was observed by an officer smoking tobacco products. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Obstruction of Justice and Public Drunkenness, 700 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 19, an officer responded to the location for a report of an intoxicated man. After the officer arrested the suspect, the suspect made threats to kill the officer. A male, 50, of Falls Church, was arrested for Obstruction of Justice for Threatening Law Enforcement and Public Drunkenness.
False ID to Law Enforcement and Public Drunkenness, 200 block E. Fairfax St. On Nov. 20, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger provided a false name to an officer and was intoxicated. A male, 36, of Arlington, was arrested for providing a False ID to Law Enforcement and Public Drunkenness. He was also served a warrant from Arlington County for Failure to Appear in Court.
Vandalism, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 20, an unknown suspect(s) shattered the driver’s side window to the victim’s vehicle.
Narcotics Violation, 809 W. Broad St. On Nov. 21, an officer observed suspicious activity. After investigation, a male, 20, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
Larceny from Building, 100 block W. Jefferson St. On Nov. 21, an unknown suspect(s) stole unsecure scrap metal from a dumpster on two occasions during the past two days.
Drinking In Public, 200 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 22, a male, 44, of Arlington, was arrested for Drinking In Public.
Driving After Illegally Consuming Alcohol, 1000 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A female, 18, of Fairfax, was arrested for Driving After Illegally Consuming Alcohol.
Narcotics Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 24, a male, 32, of Fairfax, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute.
Disorderly Conduct, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 24, a male, 24, of Sterling, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd # 24 (Hai Ky Mi Gia), On Nov. 24, a male, 36, of Annandale, was observed by an officer smoking tobacco products. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Vandalism, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #27 (Saigon MVA) On Nov. 26, an unknown suspect(s) broke two large windows on the front of the business sometime overnight.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area and Permitting Smoking Where Prohibited, 6757 Wilson Blvd # 21 (Hai Lua), On Nov. 26, an officer observed a female, 56, of Alexandria, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. She was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area. The owner of the restaurant, a male, 64, of Falls Church was arrested for Permitting Smoking Where Prohibited.
Driving Under the Influence, 600 block Fulton Ave. On Nov. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A male, 25, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under The Influence and Driving with a Revoked License.
Fleeing Scene of Accident, Disorderly Conduct, and Driving Under the Influence, 900 block Park Ave. On Nov. 26, officers responded to the location for a report of a hit and run accident. A female, 31, of McLean, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence. A female, 23, of Falls Church, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Fleeing the Scene of an Accident.
Disorderly Conduct, 6763 Wilson Blvd. #R3 (V3 Club) On Nov. 27, officers observed fighting in the parking lot. A male, 25, of Fairfax, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Urinating In Public, 6763 Wilson Blvd. #R3 (V3 Club) On Nov. 27, officers a male, 25, of Springfield, was arrested for Urinating In Public.
Vandalism, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Nov. 27, an unknown suspect(s) damaged the passenger side rearview mirror of the victim’s vehicle.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd # 16 (Café Le Mirage) On Nov. 28, a male, 42, of Lorton; and a male, 40, of Woodbridge were observed by an officer smoking tobacco products. The suspects were arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
