7-Year-Old from F.C. Named National Champion Runner

Rheinhardt Harrison, a 7 year old from Falls Church, was the highest placing local runner in the Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships, held Nov. 19 in Huntington, West Virginia. The Fairfax Police Youth Club runner finished in third place in the boys 8-and-under two-kilometer race.

By placing in the top 25, he was recognized as All-American.

Earning the boys 7-year-old National Champion title, Harrison was the top 7 year old and will return in the same 7-8 age group next year.
