Café Rio Grand Opening Set for Monday, Nov. 28

Café Rio will hold its grand opening celebration on Monday, November 28 at 10:45 a.m. at its new location at 6118 Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church. As part of the opening, a generous donation will be made to the Falls Church City Public Schools.

The Utah-based chain was founded in 1997 by master chef Steve Stanley and Tricia Stanley and sold to Bob and Kathleen Nilsen with SKM/Apax Partners in 2004. Café Rio now has almost 50 restaurants in 10 states. The restaurant’s recipes are inspired from traditional cooking found in the Rio Grande region of Northern Mexico, Southern Texas and New Mexico.

Their tortilla’s are made from scratch and all products are prepared fresh daily in open view kitchens. For more information visit www.caferio.com.
