Tinner Hill Kicks Off ‘Prelude’ Series with Blues Duo

“Prelude to the Blues,” a series of intimate, in-home concerts by accomplished musicians, begins on Sunday, Nov. 20, from 5 – 8 p.m.

The antique-filled home of Lindy Hockenberry and Edward Christensen is where an exclusive group of music lovers will gather to enjoy good food, drinks and the musical duo of Eleanor Ellis and Pearl Bailes.

Ellis, a leading Piedmont blues guitarist, and Bailes, a unique blues harpist, will perform together, and mix and mingle with guests.

Tickets are by advance sales only and space is limited. For ticket information, call Edwin B. Henderson at 703-534-4627.

These concerts raise funds for the annual Tinner Hill Blues Festival which will take place this year June 8 – 10. The concert is produced by Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation and co-sponsored by the City of Falls Church.
