City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for November 1 – 7, 2011
Larceny from Building, 200 block Gundry Dr. On Nov. 1, an unknown suspect(s) stole Halloween decorations from the victim’s yard.
Driving Under the Influence, 200 block S. Washington St. On Nov. 3, officers responded to the area for a report of an accident. One of the drivers, a male, 53, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Defrauding an Innkeeper, 127 E. Broad St. (Applebee’s) On Nov. 3, four unknown suspects left the establishment without paying their bill.
Destruction of Property, 201 N. Washington St. (Kaiser Permanente) On Nov. 4, an unknown suspect(s) broke a glass window to the parking garage with a rock sometime within the past two days.
Destruction of Property, 700 block Parker Ave. On Nov. 4, an unknown suspect(s) broke a window pane in a residence sometime between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Larceny from Building, 100 block Great Falls St. On Nov. 4, an unknown suspect(s) stole a railing from the victim’s residence.
Narcotics and Liquor Law Violations, 1100 block W. Broad St. On Nov. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 17 year-old male, of McLean, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, and Underage Possession of Alcohol. A passenger, a 17 year-old male, of McLean, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
Grand Larceny, 300 block W. Broad St. (Broaddale Shopping Center) On Nov. 5, an unknown suspect stole cash from a wallet after knocking it out of the victim’s hand.
Destruction of Property, 300 block Lawton St. On Nov. 5, an unknown suspect(s) smashed the side window to the victim’s vehicle.
Larceny from Vehicle, 800 block Park Ave. On Nov.6 an unknown suspect(s) stole various items including electronic gaming equipment from the victim’s vehicle sometime overnight. There was no evidence of forced entry.
