Mustang Football Shut Out By Purchase Line High, 26-0

The George Mason High School Mustangs varsity football team lost its road game to the Purchase Line Red Dragons 26-0 last Saturday night.

The loss drops the Mustangs to 1-6 on the season.

Red Dragons running back Josh Huey had a big game with three touchdowns and over 200 yards of total offense for the game. It was a scoreless game until Huey scored his first touchdown with 5:46 left in the first half.

The Mustang offense struggled all game and couldn’t get much going against an inspired Red Dragons defensive unit.

George Mason will play their final home game of the season on Friday night against William Monroe High School at 7:30 p.m.
