City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for October 4 – 10, 2011
Driving Under the Influence, 400 block S. Washington St. On Oct. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 29, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Liquor Law Violations, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Oct. 4, an officer observed occupants of a parked vehicle drinking an alcoholic beverage. Ivan Aguilar Dominguez, 21, of Riverdale, MD; and Wilber Castellon, 21, of Silver Spring, MD, were arrested for Drinking In Public. A male, 19, of Landover Hills, MD, was arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol. A male, 23, of Parkville, MD, was arrested for Drinking In Public and for Purchasing Alcohol for Persons Under 21 Years of Age.
Urinating In Public, 306 Hillwood Ave. (Lesly’s Restaurant) On Oct. 5, a male, 23, of Fairfax, was arrested for Urinating In Public.
Felony Driving Under the Influence and Refusal To Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 900 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 1, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 33, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (3rd Offense) and Refusing to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.
Obstruction of Justice, Providing False ID to Law Enforcement, and Trespassing, 830 W. Broad St. (St. James School) On Oct. 7, 8:45 p.m., an individual was trespassing on school grounds and then fled from an officer after providing a false name. A male, 28, of Alexandria, was arrested for Obstruction of Justice, Providing False ID to Law Enforcement, and Trespassing. The suspect was also served outstanding warrants from Fairfax County for two counts of Domestic Assault, Destruction of Property and Destruction of a Telephonic Device to Prevent the Summoning of Law Enforcement.
Burglary, 100 block Gresham Pl. On Oct. 7, officers responded to a residence for a report of a burglary alarm. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry and ransacked the interior.
Burglary, 100 block Gresham Pl. On Oct. 7, officers found a residence burglarized while canvassing the area. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry and the interior was ransacked.
Fleeing the Scene of an Accident, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a False ID, and Driving Without a Valid License, 400 block Jackson St. On Oct. 9, officers responded to an accident where the driver had fled the scene. After further investigation, officers identified the fleeing driver who was intoxicated and was in possession of a false driver’s license. A male, 29, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Fleeing the Scene of an Accident, Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a False ID, and Driving Without a Valid License.
Vandalism to Vehicle, 205 Hillwood Ave. (TownPlace Suites) On Oct. 9, unknown suspect(s) dented an unattended vehicle in the parking lot sometime overnight.
Drinking In Public and Public Drunkenness, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Oct. 9, a male, 50, of Falls Church was arrested for Drinking In Public and Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On Oct. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a male, 50, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Unauthorized Carrying of a Concealed Weapon and Public Drunkenness, 600 block Lincoln Ave. On Oct. 10, officers responded to the area for a report of a disorderly individual in the area. The intoxicated man was also carrying a concealed collapsible baton. A male, 49, of Falls Church, was arrested for Unauthorized Carrying of a Concealed Weapon and Public Drunkenness.
