Gardner Calls on City Staff to Explain Controversial Police Action at Eden Center

Falls Church City Council member Robin Gardner made a formal request of the Falls Church City staff to provide a report on “what caused what happened to happen” at the predominantly Vietnamese-American Eden Shopping Center in August that led to 19 citations for illegal gambling, a spate of which have already been dismissed in court.

She noted that another demonstration of Vietnamese-American leaders is scheduled to be held in the F.C. City Hall parking lot to protest the citations.
