City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for September 27 – October 3, 2011

Graffiti, 444 W. Broad St. (Spectrum) On Sept. 27, graffiti was observed at various locations on the property.

Larceny from Building, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Sept. 27, the victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole a bike locked to a communal rack. The bicycle was last seen on Sept. 11.

Public Drunkenness, 444 W. Broad St. (Spectrum) On Sept. 27, a male, 21, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Vehicle, 6793 Wilson Blvd. #R1 (Planet Fitness) On Sept. 28, a lock on a locker was destroyed and personal property was stolen.

Vandalism to Vehicle, 500 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Sept. 29, unknown suspect(s) broke out the victim’s vehicle side window sometime overnight.

Attempted Prescription Fraud, 1150 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Sept. 29, an unknown suspect attempted to obtain Oxycodone using a false prescription.

Public Drunkenness, W&OD Trail between Grove Ave. & N. West St. On Sept. 30, a male, 50, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.

Possession of False Identification, Driving Under the Influence, and Driving without a Valid License, 917 W. Broad St. (El Zunzal) On Oct. 1, an officer observed a vehicle lurching from the parking lot. The driver was not licensed and presented the officer a false driver’s license. A male, 21, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested for Possession of False Identification, Driving Under the Influence, and Driving without a Valid License.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block S. Washington St. On Oct. 1, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a female, 30, of Herndon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Oct. 1, two unknown suspects stole two movie players.

Underage Possession of Alcohol, Unit block Hillwood Ave. On Oct. 2, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. One of the passengers was in possession of an alcoholic beverage. A male, 19, of Alexandria, was arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Assault and Battery, 400 block N. Maple Ave. On Oct. 2, a male, 31, of Arlington; and a female, 23, of the City of Falls Church, were arrested for Assault and Battery.
