The Board of Zoning Appeals of the City of Falls Church, Virginia will be holding a public hearing on October 13, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 300 Park Avenue, for consideration of the following items: Variance Application V1526-11 (MUNIS #20110790) by Patricia Shields, contract purchaser, for the following variances along the Parker Avenue frontage of premises known as 900 Parker Avenue, Lot 12 Section 1, RPC #52-201-001 of the Falls Church Real Property records, Zoned R-1A Low Density Residential, said property owned by Barbara Schneider: 1. To Sec. 48-238(3)(a) to permit a front yard setback of twenty-five (25) feet instead of thirty (30) feet to allow construction of a second story addition on an existing nonconforming residence, and 2. To Sec. 48-238(3)(a) to permit a front yard setback of twenty (20) feet instead of thirty (30) feet to allow construction of a screened porch, and 3.
