Republican David Feld, a vice president of the Bailey’s Crossroads Revitalization Corporation, has jumped in to challenge long-standing Democratic incumbent Penelope (“Penny”) Gross for the Mason District Supervisor position in the November 8 election. Feld entered the race in early September and was slated to engage in a head-to-head debate with Gross before the Ravenwood Civic Association tonight at the Sleepy Hollow Elementary School. Feld has been vice chair of the Mason District Council and former Adult Education Advisory Committee member for the Fairfax County School Board.
