Old-Fashioned Family Fun Comes to F.C. With Farm Day

The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Division is sponsoring its 19th Annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Ave., Falls Church.

Participants can enjoy old-fashioned family fun including horse-drawn hayrides, pony rides, a petting farm, scarecrow making, pumpkin painting, blacksmithing, corn shelling and grinding, free tours of the 1845 Cherry Hill Farmhouse, live music and more.

Admission is free; however nominal fees apply to some activities.For more information about Farm Day, call 703-248-5171.
