Teresa Strickler, of Falls Church, turned 100 Sept. 2., and celebrated her birthday last Thursday with her Red Hat Society friends at their monthly meeting at Ireland’s Four Provinces.
Strickler was humble about the accomplishment, joking about the world knowing her age because of press attention.
“Now they’ll all know how old I am,” Strickler said.
She enjoys an active schedule, attending TOPS meetings weekly, going to exercise classes twice a week, and attending painting class once a week. She also takes part in her monthly luncheon outing with the Arlington-based Red Hat Divas, Chapter 32261 of the Red Hat Society.
