Virginia Commerce Bank Collects More Than 1,000 Diapers

Virginia Commerce Bank in Falls Church has collected more than 1,000 diapers during the bank’s diaper drive which has collected more than 10,000 diapers total in this region.

The collection will benefit low income households with infants and toddlers. Because of the costs, which can be close to $100 a month per child, infants in low income households often spend a day or more in a single diaper which increases their risk of health problems and, because of the crying, puts them at a higher risk for abuse. Diapers can be dropped off at any of Virginia Commerce Bank locations until September 10.

The Falls Church branch is located at 7115 Leesburg Pike.
