Power Restored in Some F.C. Areas, All Restoration Estimates Monday

Some locations in Falls Church are reporting the restoration of their power this morning, while Dominion Power reports that estimates of restoration times for all the over 1 million customers statewide will be provided by noon Monday. In Arlington, 65 trees are reported downed, with 55 into streets and 12 involving power lines. In Falls Church, power has been restored to two restaurants that had reported it out this morning: Ireland’s Four Provinces and the Mad Fox Brewing Company, popular Sunday brunch spots, announced the power was back on as of 11 a.m. Another favorite Sunday brunch destination, the Dogwood Tavern, maintained its power overnight. Ireland’s 4P’s and Dogwood were open to the public as of 11:15 a.m., and Mad Fox will open at noon.
