Famous Dave’s Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que will open its new location in Falls Church’s Broadale Plaza on Monday, August 29. As a result of this new restaurant, Famous Dave’s will be providing more than 160 new jobs, donating $250 in gift cards for new teachers, and supporting local events such as FIRSTfriday of Falls Church and the Farmer’s Market.
Famous Dave’s has won more than 500 national and regional awards for everything from best ribs to best Bar-B-Que sauce, including the People’s Choice Award at the 2011 Great American Rib Cook-Off in Cleveland and the People’s Choice Award at the 2011 National Capital Barbecue Battle in Washington, D.C. (for the sixth year in a row). The Falls Church restaurant, which will be the restaurant’s 15th location in DC/Baltimore area, is located at 370 W. Broad Street.
