The local Kiwanis chapter gave the donation as part of its ongoing community service efforts.

TJC’s Senior Social Services Associate Elizabeth Nehrling and Immigration Staff Attorney Lindsay Harris were on hand to accept the club’s donation after speaking to its members about the center’s mission and volunteer opportunities. In addition to the donation, Nehrling and Harris also accepted items collected by Kiwanis club members to help the center’s clients and their children, including Target gift cards, school supplies, and feminine hygiene products.
