Again Falls Church voters have pointed – with a well-manicured finger- to Rex Day Spa as the best place to pretty up the fingers and toes.

Since opening in 2005, the spa has served more than 700 regular clients, who come in once a month or more to keep their nails in tip-top shape. Helen Nguyen, salon manager, praises her staff for being friendly in dealing with customers, and prides herself on running a highly sanitary spa using quality products and equipment.

As of late, Shellac manicures have become popular at the salon.

Though $8 more than a traditional manicure, Nguyen says this special type of manicure doesn’t chip easily, and lasts for longer than two weeks. She also said that the Shellac manicures her day spa provides are some of the cheapest in the Washington, D.C. area. But while cost and quality of service are important to customers, Nguyen and her employees offer a bit more: Peace of mind.

“When they come to Rex Day Spa, our clients can relax, be happy, and have a peace of mind knowing that services are provided by experienced and caring staff,” Helen Nguyen, salon manager, said. “All of our staff have over five years of experience in nail care, and are licensed manicurists, pedicurists and estheticians.”
