2 Water Main Breaks in F.C. Shut Down Water & Limit Traffic

UPDATE: The first water main break on S Maple Ave has been repaired and is back in service.

Water service to portions of the City of Falls Church has been shut down as City crews work to fix two water main breaks this afternoon.

City crews are currently working on a six inch water main break at 412 S. Maple Ave. Traffic has been reduced to one lane south bound while crews work on the road. A City of Falls Church spokesperson said water service will be restored in 3 to 4 hours.

Crews will commence working on a second break at 703 Randolph St. once work on Maple Ave is complete.
