In conjunction with the Concord Coalition, U.S. Rep. Jim Moran, who represents the 8th District of Virginia that includes the City of Falls Church, will host a public federal budget balancing exercise this coming Monday, July 11, with all citizens of his district invited to participate free of charge. “Principles and Priorities: How Would You Balance the Budget” is the title for the event, with citizens engaging in small group discussions to come up with scenarios for balancing the budget.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association meeting space, 4301 Wilson Blvd., in the Ballston section of Arlington.
