Mester-0852Thousands turned out Monday to celebrate the Fourth of July and watch the skies above George Mason High School light up with brilliant color as Falls Church City once again put on a fireworks display to celebrate our nation’s independence.

Picnicking groups set up across the Mason stadium field and were entertained by a performance by the cover band Bad Hair Day, followed by the 9 p.m. fireworks display.
