Rudy Putonen loves living in Falls Church with his parents, Keri and Derek Putonen. With the warm weather here, Rudy has some tips for pups. He hopes every dog with a back yard will have a pool or perhaps a sprinkler. He thinks his pool is a perfect size, except when his sister, Raina, a German Shepherd, tries to get in with him. Like Rudy’s, yards should have plenty of shady places to snooze in. Dogs can get sunburned too, but don’t show it. Rudy also says that pet moms and dads should schedule walks and play in the park for early morning or evenings so the sun isn’t too hot. By the way, scorching pavement really hurts paws!
