F.C.’s Fairview Park Home to 3 of 5 Largest Public Traded Companies

According to the Washington Business Journal, three of the top five largest publicly traded companies in the Washington D.C. metro-area are located on Fairview Park Drive in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.

With 2010 revenue of $34.76 billion, Northrup Grumman Corp. was listed in second place while General Dynamics placed third with $32.47 billion in revenue and Computer Sciences Corp. ranked fifth with $16.13 billion. Bethesda-based Lockhead Martin took the top spot with $45.8 billion in revenue and Arlington-based The AES Corp landed the fourth spot with $16.65 billion. Fifteen of the top 25 are located in Northern Virginia while six were in Maryland and four are in Washington, D.C.
