Falls Church School Board Chair Joan Wodiska, having served on the F.C. board for seven years, announced today that she has been “called to serve in a new, expanded leadership role” as the President of the Virginia School Boards Association, representing all 134 school divisions in Virginia.
She added, “I remain passionately committed to the F.C. City School Board and will run for re-election in 2012,” adding, “I have encouraged Patrick Riccards, the School Board Vice Chairman, to serve as chair.
