City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for May 31- June 6, 2011

Aggravated Malicious Wounding, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern), May 31, 2:04 a.m., officers responded for an assault that had occurred approximately 30 minutes earlier. Victim was transported to Virginia Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries. Following an investigation, a warrant for Aggravated Malicious Wounding was secured for the suspect.

Larceny – Other, 205 Hillwood Ave. (Marriott Town Suites), June 1, 8:29 a.m., sometime after May 25, a snow thrower and power washer were taken from a possibly unsecured storage barn.

Drunk in Public, 201 S. Washington St., (7-11), June 2, 10:46 a.m., a male, 45, of no fixed address, was arrested for being Drunk in Public.

Animal at Large, 300 block N. Cherry St., June 2, 7:15 a.m., officers responded to a citizen report of a dog bite. A female, 35, of the City of Falls Church was issued a summons for allowing dogs to run at large.

Driving Under the Influence, S. Oak St/Timber Ln., June 3, 2:57 a.m., a male, 19, of the City of Falls Church was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and for Possession of Marijuana.

Unlicensed Solicitation, 1000 block E. Broad St., June 4, 6:48 p.m., a male, 28, of no fixed address, was arrested for panhandling.

Assault, 6763 Wilson Blvd., #R3 (V3 Club), June 5, 1:22 a.m., officers conducting a business check as the club was closing learned of an earlier assault involving several males. A male, 30, of Lorton, was arrested for Assault and Battery.

Driving Under the Influence, 917 W. Broad St. (El Zunzal), June 6, 1:57 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle entering the roadway from the parking lot and proceed to drive at an erratic speed. A male, 26, of Arlington was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
