AAUW Awards Scholarships To Women Graduating in F.C.

Over the past 20 years, the American Association of University Women of Greater Falls Church has raised funds for the National AAUW Scholarship Foundation for young women graduating from Falls Church area high schools. This year’s scholarship recipients are Mollie Read (George Mason High School); Sarita Telnan and Anna Huynh (Falls Church High School); and Huzna Aziz, Claudia Valenzuela, Noor Jaddoa and Dana Awadallah (JEB Stuart High School).

Every April, the Falls Church AAUW branch raises the funds for scholarships and other community projects at its annual used book sale at the Falls Church Community Center. Donations of books may be made year roundFor more information, call 703- 534-1494.
