Creative Cauldron has launched a project on Kickstarter.com with the goal of generating a minimum of $1,500 by 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, to help underwrite some of the costs of its upcoming production of “Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White.”
Kickstarter.com is a website that helps artists and organizations raise money for creative projects in theater, music, art, dance and more.
Just 30 minutes after the Kickstarter campaign deadline, Creative Cauldron will preview “Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White,” an original piece of theater created from the stories of Falls Church’s African American civil rights pioneers, at 7:30 p.m. on June 2 at ArtSpace Falls Church, 410 S. Maple Ave.
Performances will run Thursday through Sunday, June 2 – 5 and June 9 – 12. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and students. Visit creativecauldron.org for more information.
