City of Falls Church, VA Crime Report for May 17 – 23, 2011
Public Drunkenness, 300 block W. Broad St. (Brookdale Shopping Center) On May 18, 10:42 p.m., officers responded to the area for a report of an intoxicated man harassing customers. A male, 43, of no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. On May 18, 11:41 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A male, 37, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Assault and Battery, 803 W. Broad St. On May 19, 12:27 p.m., officers responded to the location for a report of an altercation between two individuals. A female, 19, of Falls Church, was arrested for Assault and Battery.
Defrauding an Innkeeper and Public Drunkenness, 132 W. Broad St. (Dogwood Tavern) On May 20, 1:38 a.m., an officer responded to the restaurant for a report of female refusing to pay her restaurant bill. The officer observed the individual intoxicated. A female, 45, of Montgomery Village, MD, was arrested for Defrauding an Innkeeper and Public Drunkenness.
Graffiti, 809 W. Broad St. On May 20, 1:49 p.m., a sign in the parking lot was found with white lettering from spray paint.
Graffiti, 100 block Park Pl. On May 20, 6:53 p.m., an officer found five stickers on the back of a stop sign.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 7124 Leesburg Pike (George Mason High School) On May 20. 7:12 p.m., the victim reported the vehicle’s rear license plate stolen sometime after 7:30 a.m.
Driving Under the Influence, 917 W. Broad St. (El Zunzal) On May 21, 2:00 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A male, 44, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Driving Under the Influence, 1000 E. Broad St. On May 21, 10:41 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. A male, 31, of Jonesboro Craigh, AR, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Justice, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On May 22, 12:04 a.m., officers responded to the area for a fight in progress. Officers observed A male, 33, of Arlington, grabbing another individual. While an officer was detaining the suspect; a male, 32, of Washington, DC, screamed at an officer and removed the first suspect from the officer’s custody. The 32-year old male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Obstruction of Justice. Incident to the arrest, The 33-year-old male attempted to remove the 32-year-old male from the police cruiser. The 33-year-old male was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Public Drunkenness, 100 block W. Annandale Rd. On May 22, 4:42 p.m., an officer observed an intoxicated woman walking unsteadily on the sidewalk. A female, 22, of Woodbridge, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Urinating In Public, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On May 22, 9:39 p.m., an officer observed a man urinating in the parking lot in public view. A male, 40, of Washington, DC, was arrested for Urinating In Public.
Public Drunkenness, 6795 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On May 22, 10:31 p.m., an officer observed an intoxicated man. A male, 53, of no fixed address, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
