Office Depot Celebrates Opening With Donations

investOffice Depot celebrated the opening of a new store at 3536 S. Jefferson St. in Falls Church on April 21 by making donations to benefit the community.

investOffice Depot celebrated the opening of a new store at 3536 S. Jefferson St. in Falls Church on April 21 by making donations to benefit the community. During a ceremony, the Office Depot Foundation donated new children’s book bags with school supplies and made check presentations to three local non-profit organizations: the Falls Church Education Foundation, Homestretch and Shelter House. In addition, Michael Ankuma, chairman, and Sally Cole, executive director of the Greater Falls Church Chamber of Commerce, offered welcoming remarks. Fairfax County Mason District Supervisor Penelope A. Gross and Virginia State Senator Mary Margaret Whipple were also on hand.
