Mason History Students Advance to NHD Nationals

Seventeen students from George Mason High School competed with eight projects in five categories during National History Day state competition last month.All but two placed first or second and are now qualified for the national competition in June.

Seventeen students from George Mason High School competed with eight projects in five categories during National History Day state competition last month.All but two placed first or second and are now qualified for the national competition in June. The students earning first and second place at the competition were Poorva Arora, Vincent Camacho, George deMars, Jackson DuBro, Alissa Forbes, Jessica Kemp, David McAllister, Elinore McLain, Fae Montgomery, Honora Overby, Sam Selby, Arijeet Sensharma and Jack Ulses.
