City of F.C. Crime Report: April 26 – May 2, 2011
Trespassing and Public Drunkenness, 6700 blk Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Apr. 26, 1:44 a.m., an officer observed a suspicious man in the parking lot. The identified man was intoxicated and previously banned from the Eden Center. A 35-year old from Fairfax, was arrested for Trespassing and Public Drunkenness.
Fraud, 803 W. Broad St. #700 (Northern Virginia AIDS Ministry) On Apr. 26, 1:15 p.m., the victim business reported their bank account was fraudulently used.
Larceny from Building and Credit Card Theft, 442 S. Washington St. (Rex Day Spa) On Apr. 26, 5:46 p.m., officers responded to the location for a report of a stolen wallet with cash and credit cards which had just occurred. Officers immediately found the suspect and were able to recover the credit cards. A 25-year-old woman from Altamonte Springs, FL, was arrested for Credit Card Theft.
Larceny from Building, 100 Hillwood Ave. (Hillwood Mart) On Apr. 26, 8:41 p.m., the victim business reported an unknown male pumped $54 worth of gasoline into his vehicle without paying.
Driving after Illegally Consuming Alcohol and Driving without a Valid License, 600 block Roosevelt Blvd. On Apr. 26, 11:08 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 20-year-old man from Gaithersburg, MD, was arrested for Driving after Illegally Consuming Alcohol and Driving without a Valid License
Noise Violation, 300 block Little Falls St. On Apr. 27, 1:09 a.m., an officer respond to the area for a noise complaint. The officer verbally warned the offender of the noise violation. When the officer checked the area 20 minutes later, the offender failed to comply. A 20-year-old man from the City of Falls Church, was arrested for a Noise Violation.
Tampering with Motor Vehicle, 200 block N. Maple Ave. On Apr. 27, 8:25 a.m., the victim reported that sometime overnight the window to his vehicle was pried from the door frame. No items were taken but the vehicle was found in disarray.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Great Falls St. On Apr. 27, 8:57 a.m., the victim reported his vehicle had been damaged and his car radio/CD player was stolen. The vehicle was parked unattended for the past week.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block W. Annandale Rd. On Apr. 27, 6:27 p.m., the victim reported her car radio/CD player was stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime between Apr. 24 and 27.
Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Breath or Blood Test, and Driving with a Suspended License, 800 block S. Washington St. On Apr. 28, 10:28 p.m., an officer responded to the area for a complaint of an impaired driver. The officer observed the driver commit a motor vehicle violation. The driver, a 36-year-old man from Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Breath or Blood Test, and Driving with a Suspended License.
Narcotics Violation, 300 block N. Cherry St, On Apr. 29, 7:30 a.m., an officer observed a juvenile smoking marijuana. The 17 year-old male juvenile, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for possession of Marijuana.
Motor Vehicle Theft, 435 S. Washington St. (Coleman PowerSports) On Apr. 29, 10:34 a.m., the victim business reported a motorized scooter was stolen from the service area sometime between Apr. 14 and 16.
Motor Vehicle Theft, 131 E. Broad St. On Apr. 29, 11:55 a.m., the victim reported his black and brown four-wheel trailer was stolen from the parking lot between 1 and 3 p.m. on Apr 28.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6779 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Café Vy) On Apr. 29, 3:47 p.m., an officer observed a 55-year-old from Fairfax, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage Café) On Apr. 29, 4:00 p.m., an officer observed a 46-year-old from Falls Church, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Gio) On Apr. 29, 4:13 p.m., an officer observed a 59-year-old from Sterling, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Smoking in a Non-Designated Area, 6757 Wilson Blvd. #16 (Le Mirage Café) On Apr. 29, 4:50 p.m., an officer observed a 40-year-old from Annandale, smoking tobacco products in the restaurant. He was arrested for Smoking in a Non-Designated Area.
Assaulting a Police Officer, Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to a Breath or Blood Test, 100 block E. Broad St. On Apr. 29, 11:59 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle crash into a barrier. While the officer was investigating the crash, the driver punched the officer in the face. The driver, a 48-year-old man from Richmond, was arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer, Driving Under the Influence, and Refusal to Submit to a Breath or Blood Test.
Public Drunkenness, 220 N. Washington St. (State Theater) On Apr. 30, 10:15 p.m., an officer observed an intoxicated man on the sidewalk. A 28-year-old man from Haymarket, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
Driving Under the Influence, 300 block W. Broad St. On May 1, 12:21 a.m., A 26-year-old man from Falls Church was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
Graffiti, 300 block Timber Ln. On May 1, 2:00 a.m., the victim reported graffiti was sprayed on her fence sometime between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m.
Underage Possession of Alcohol, 400 block Timber Ln. On May 1, 2:31 a.m., an officer observed suspicious activity in a vehicle. The occupants, a 20-year-old from Falls Church; and a 19-year-old from Falls Church, were arrested for Underage Possession of Alcohol.
Graffiti, 700 block Timber Ln. On May 1, 12:34 p.m., the victim reported graffiti was sprayed on his vehicle sometime overnight.
Public Drunkenness, 110 N. West St. (7-Eleven) On May 1, 3:23 p.m. officers responded to the store for a report of an intoxicated man in the parking lot. A 38-year-old from Annandale was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
