Partner for Surgery Raises $100K for Medical Care

Nearly 150 dignitaries, local celebrities and other individuals gathered on April 30 to raise money for surgeries and related health care services for underserved communities in Guatemala.

Nearly 150 dignitaries, local celebrities and other individuals gathered on April 30 to raise money for surgeries and related health care services for underserved communities in Guatemala.
The evening – known as The Arts for Healing – collected $100,000 for Partner for Surgery, a McLean-based nonprofit organization that provides medical care to more than 25,000 Guatemalans and has facilitated over 7,000 surgeries since 2001. The event celebrated the accomplishments of the 10-year-old nonprofit organization and its founders, Frank and Todd Peterson.
