Local Artist, Author Visits Mt. Daniel Jump Start Program

Puerto Rican-born artist, author and producer of multicultural books and videos for children, Edwin Fontánez, visited the Mount Daniel Jump Start program last week.

Puerto Rican-born artist, author and producer of multicultural books and videos for children, Edwin Fontánez, visited the Mount Daniel Jump Start program last week. Fontánez, who lives in Arlington, explained where he gets his ideas for books, showed them a little of his artistic talent and then handed each a blank book and asked the children to begin writing their own stories.
