The meeting will feature a presentation titled “Genealogy from the Inside Out: Tracing a Family Secret from a Single Clue.” The program will be presented by Steve Luxenberg.
Luxenberg is a Washington Post senior editor and award-winning author. Reporters working for Luxenberg have won two Pulitzer Prizes. He and his wife, Mary Jo Kirschman, live in Baltimore. They have two adult children.
MVGS is a nonprofit organization and has over 260 members residing in Alexandria, Fort Belvoir, the counties of Fairfax, Prince William, Montgomery, and Prince Georges, as well as several states.
