TJ Elementary School Hosts First Annual Literacy Fair

Just before last week’s spring break, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School staff members participated in a literacy fair organized by Language Arts CIRT Mary Klink, and reading teacher Michele Harcarik.

Just before last week’s spring break, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School staff members participated in a literacy fair organized by Language Arts CIRT Mary Klink, and reading teacher Michele Harcarik.

Teachers rotated through centers manned by Falls Church City Public Schools specialists in the areas of reading, record keeping and resources related to language fluency, phonics, phonemic awareness, comprehension and vocabulary.
