McLean Community Center to Offer 2 Art Workshops for Kids

The McLean Community Center will host art workshops this weekend and next geared toward young artists and their families.

The McLean Community Center will host art workshops this weekend and next geared toward young artists and their families.

On Saturday, April 30, from 10 11:30 a.m., a family art workshop titled City Collages, for ages 4 – 8, will be hosted. Families will create collages from photographs and drawings that show city life from multiple points of view. Those taking part should bring photos, pictures from the newspaper and computer imagery. The cost is $10 per family.

On Saturday, May 7, the course will be offered again for ages 9 -12, at a cost of $5 per student.

Workshops are held in DuVal Art Studio at the McLean Community Center, 1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean.
