The 2010 H. Gordon Randall Outstanding Volunteer awards were presented to Peggy Johnson and Nancy Gralla for their volunteer contributions to MCC programs.

Over the more than two years Johnson has volunteered, she has created and maintained systems for archiving center media coverage, event photographs, news releases and financial documents. In addition, she has provided backup support for the center’s reception desk, worked with the Special Events staff to set up McLean Day and greeted patrons and supported staff at a variety of events and activities.

In the more than three years Gralla has volunteered, she has become the public face of the center’s dance programs and youth and family events for countless students and parents. She coordinates and briefs volunteers on their duties, sets up volunteer schedules and arranges phone trees for specific events. Each year for class performances and demonstrations, she has coordinated load-in, set-up, usher assignments, backstage help, a sewing crew and volunteers for clean-up.
